Personal Statement/Background

Primarily a teacher of piano,all levels,with an emphasis in jazz,blues,rock and pop,I also have proficiency on guitar,bass and voice.

As a voice coach,I work with technique and repertoire building.I am a skilled accompanist as well as a performer.

Education

Six years piano study in the gifted child program at American Conservatory In Chicago, 1966-72. B.A. degree from U.of I.,1976 During this also private piano study at Northwestern University with Professor and author Dr.Allen Swain and voice with Faye Kaiser.Special workshops on vocal pedagogy at Illinois Voice Institute.
