Personal Statement/Background

I am a longtime acoustic guitarist, singer-songwriter , mother of 3 with a love and lifetime of music study and experience and happy to share this. My mother taught cello at home , so I learned alot this way, thru osmosis. I teach the basics of guitar, music reading ,chord construction,right and left hand techniques, tunings and songwriting if interested .

Education

Classical piano , private studies , as a child for 4 years Flute studies 3 years -with Doris Henry Guitar studies-various classes, pop /folk teachers, classical study 1977 with John Bent 6 months , Jazz - Tony Rizzi-6 months Horace Hatchett-Jazz/Pop/ private study 1 year in 1980 at World Of Strings/Long Beach, CA.
